Bird is a little crazy, but this is what he would look like if he would let us take a picture of him.
You might wonder where the bird in “2girlsababyandabird” comes in. Well, I (Karen) have had parakeets my entire life, and Lisa and I have had them throughout our time together. So we (OK, our friend Joanne suggested the blog name) thought it was only fitting that we include the bird. The first one we had was named after former University of Kansas basketball guard Rex Walters. Our second bird was named for former Detroit Red Wings and Atlanta Thrashers player Slava Kozlov. The next one was named by our friend Myria because she thought he looked like Mountain Dew (Dewey).
We got a new bird in the fall, and after trying really hard to come up with names ourselves and asking our friends what we should name him (Feathah was the leader for a while) no name seemed to fit, so now the bird is called is called Bird.

So funny y’all use “little bird”. I called Ethan and Isabel my little ducklings because they were born in Oregn (Oregon Ducks). Isabel’s nickname is Birdy.
